Liquibase Change Types dropIndex

Sometimes the index must be dropped, Liquibase provides dropIndex Change Type for dropping an existing index on a column in the database. With a drop in the index, all metadata will be removed. so  The index can’t be rebuilt and if required again then the index must be created again.

Create Index

liquibase.command.username : root
liquibase.command.password : rootroot

Run command liquibase update

index will be created in the table on the apple_name column and can be verified by running the query

SHOW INDEXES FROM appleDb.apple;
