Spring Boot
test works with @SpringBootTest
brings the entire application up and helps in HTTP layer testing
. Spring Boot GraphQL
also provides @GraphQlTest annotation
that only boots up some portion or slice of the application that helps in testing only GraphQL layer
instead of the entire Spring Boot Application
. @GraphQlTest
is the wrapper on ExecutionGraphQlServiceTester
with some additional features that are required to execute the test.

GraphiQL
GraphQL
provides an inbuild UserInterface GraphiQL
, which can be accessed via http://localhost:8080/graphiql
or access GraphQL via Postman,
in the query section add the below query
query Apples {
apples {
appleId
appleName
price
available
time
}
}
