Spring Boot GraphQL Skip Directive
is a built-in Operation Directive
that allows to change of the query at run time. Skip Directive
takes a boolean
based on which decides whether to keep a variable
in a query or not.

GraphiQL
GraphQL
provides an inbuild UserInterface GraphiQL
, which can be accessed via http://localhost:8080/graphiql
or access GraphQL via Postman,
in the query section add the below query
query ($skipTaste: Boolean!) {
findAllApple {
appleId
appleName @skip(if: true)
appleTaste @skip(if: $skipTaste)
}
}
in the variable section add below JSON
{
"skipTaste": true
}
