GraphQL
provides Fragmentation
to reuse Objects
in Query. Fragments
are declared outside the query
with a name and can be reused
, whereas Inline Fragments
are anonymous and declared inside the query Operation
and cannot be reused.

GraphiQL
GraphQL
provides an inbuild UserInterface GraphiQL
, which can be accessed via http://localhost:8080/graphiql
or access GraphQL via Postman,
in the query section add the below query
query FindAllApple {
findAllApple {
appleId
appleName
taste
available
buyFrom {
vendorId
vendorName
vendorAvailable
location
}
sellTo {
vendorId
vendorName
vendorAvailable
location
}
}
}
GraphQL Fragment
is declared once and can be used again.
fragment VendrFragment on Vendor {
vendorId
vendorName
vendorAvailable
location
}
query FindAllApple {
findAllApple {
appleId
appleName
taste
available
buyFrom {
...VendrFragment
}
sellTo {
...VendrFragment
}
}
}
For Inline Fragmentation
, use the below query
query FindAllApple {
findAllApple {
appleId
appleName
taste
available
buyFrom {
... on Vendor {
vendorId
vendorName
vendorAvailable
location
}
}
sellTo {
... on Vendor {
vendorId
vendorName
vendorAvailable
location
}
}
}
}
